Alex Bolt's Australian Open campaign comes to a close

Alex Bolt's Australian Open (AO) campaign has come to a close after going down to Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets.
The Murray Bridge tennis star scored a main draw wildcard into the AO and won his first-round match against Slovakia's Norbert Gombos, 6-2 6-2 4-6 6-3.
His second-round match was scheduled for Wednesday night against Bulgaria's Dimitrov.
The first set was tightly-contested but Dimitrov came out on top to win it, 7-6(1).
From then on, Dimitrov held control, and although Bolt made some strong plays, it was not enough to stop the AO 2017 semi-finalist's momentum.
The final score was 7-6(1) 6-1 6-2.
Post-match, Dimitrov said he wanted to make the most of the opportunity to play in the tournament.
"It's been a long road the last two or three months, I'm just very happy to be through," he said.
"It's never easy against a home crowd favourite."
Bolt's participation in the AO came after he made the third round of the Murray River Open, where he played against 18th-ranked Stan Wawrinka.
