There's still no sign of South East's X Lotto millionaire whose entry ticket secured the division one prize pool during a Saturday night draw run back in mid-July this year.
A Lotteries and Keno spokesperson revealed this week that the newsXpress Naracoorte prize of $1,053,905.78 won on Saturday, July 18 continues to sit unclaimed.
"In South Australia, players have 12 months to claim their prize from SA Lotteries," the spokesperson told Naracoorte Herald.
According to Lotteries and Keno, the winner will need to go through a process to claim their prize from the government after this time.
"It's the only unclaimed division one prize in South Australia we have at the moment," the spokesperson added.
Naracoorte newsXpress owners Selina and Clay Southern, who sold the million-dollar ticket from their business on Smith Street, look forward to the unknown winner stepping forward and making their dreams come true.
Unfortunately the winning ticket is unregistered which means the couple or the X Lotto and Keno cannot locate the winner.
With no Naracoorte-based winner stepping forward it also raises the question whether the ticket-holder was either visiting or passing through the region.
"They (winners) don't always check their tickets for a few days which is why they may have not come forward," Mrs Southern had said in July.
It's recommended that anyone who believes they are holding the winning ticket to keep it in a safe place and contact X Lotto immediately to start the prize claim process.
