Entertainment ramps up in the region in March with the roll out of Gawler's MAP - Original Music, Art and Poetry program.
On Sunday, March 1, guest poet Ben Adams, guest musicians Jen Lush and Steve Lennox, with a display of artworks by Nikalaus Chandler will set the scene.
"It's an extension of Gawler's Change Original Music Festival," convenor Martin Johnson explained.
Mr Johnson said that the aim of the event is to provide a mix of opportunities for different artists as well as stimulating the interests of the district's arts enthusiasts.
"I'm very excited about this concept, which will see four 'sessions' occurring throughout the year," he said.
March will carry the autumn session, with the first Sunday in June, September and December providing the winter, spring and summers sessions.
Free to the public and held in the beer garden of the Prince Albert Hotel, Gawler's MAP will run from 2pm to 4pm.
Visiting poets are also welcome to read in the 'open' section.
Those keen to be involved can leave copies of their own work for possible inclusion in a planned anthology.
Gawler's MAP is made possible by regional businesses.
