The Mount Pleasant Christmas Twilight Farmers Market has gained the reputation of being one of the most popular twilight farmers markets in SA, according to organisers.
Held at the Mount Pleasant Showgrounds and now in its seventh year, market manager Genevieve Hebart says the twilight event has grown "enormously" over that period.
"So come and enjoy the friendly and colourful atmosphere of a country farmer's market," she urges.
This year's Christmas Twilight will be held Friday, December 20 and will run from 5pm-9pm.
"With over 50 fresh food producers on site, many of them undercover, along the delicious dining options, and set in very picturesque surroundings of Mount Pleasant, the market has plenty to offer for a night out with the family, as well as the opportunity to stock up for your Christmas event," Ms Hebart explained.
"For all your Christmas fare from ham, fruit and vegetables, cheese, meat, fish, bread, wine, beer, dairy, chocolates and biscuits are just some of the large variety of products that will be on offer on the night."
"Free tastings, easy parking, a visit from Santa Claus for the children, along with entertainment and opportunity to support local and regional producers, makes the Mount Pleasant Christmas Twilight Market an event not to be missed."
Meanwhile, the weekly Mount Pleasant Farmers Market will be closed over the Christmas period, December 21 and 28 December, and will reopen on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 8am-12 noon.
