Seven Barossa businesses have been named as finalists in the 2019 South Australian Australian Tourism Awards.
Listed alphabetically, the local finalists are:
- Barossa Valley Chocolate Company
- Elderton Wines
- Kies Family Wines
- Seppeltsfield Road Distillers
- Seppeltsfield Winery Barossa
- Steinys Traditional Mettwurst
- Vasse Virgin at Seppeltsfield
These finalists have been nominated in one of 25 categories which include best Tourism Winery, best Festival and Event, best Tourism Business, best Caravan and Holiday Parks and many more.
Seppeltsfield will be looking to repeat its success at the 2018 SA Tourism Awards where the Seppeltsfield Winery Barossa won best Tourism Winery and Vasse Virgin Seppeltsfield won best New Tourism Business.
Tourism Industry Council South Australi (TiCSA) chief executive officer Shaun de Bruyn said the Barossa is home to many fantastic tourism experiences.
"The South Australian Tourism Awards Gala Dinner is a premier industry event celebrating the tourism operators across the state that have gone over and above to achieve outstanding success," said Mr de Bruyn.
"The Barossa is a wonderful region and the unique experiences on offer for our visitors really help to set South Australia apart amongst a highly competitive industry."

A gala dinner will be held on Friday November 8 at the Adelaide Convention Centre where the winners will be announced.
Most category winners will go on to represent South Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in Canberra in 2020.
