Colourful, silly hats were the order of the day for Nuriootpa parkrun entrants and volunteers who joined on Saturday at Coulthard Reserve to celebrate the initiative's second anniversary.
Event director Karine Meadley, with a swag of volunteers, shared in August that come rain, hail or shine, the event would go ahead.
"More than 60 people braved the elements in their silly hats to walk, run and volunteer at our 106th event," Mrs Meadley said.
To date, the park run hosts runners from age two to 80-years, and includes mums with babies as young as three months and dogs.
Mrs Meadley said the active initiative is designed to get people active and provide a friendly and socialise setting by taking on whatever pace suits.
The public can be part of the fun each week by showing up at the reserve from 7.45am for an 8am start.
