The Kapunda RSL held its Annual General Meeting on Friday, September 6, which was attended by 16 members.

Elected for the third consecutive year were the three main office bearers in Brian Jones as president, Deb Moten wearing the secretary's hat and Chris Pfitzner as treasurer.

Meanwhile, Lin Leske was elected as vice president and a new position was created with Sandra Deuter elected as merchandising officer.

The committee comprised nine other members of whom three were new to that arm of the RSL.

In his report, Mr Jones made mention of the main activities of the club over the last year and focused on the recently completed renovations to the inside of the hall which provides a more friendly and social atmosphere for those who use the hall.

Since February the clubrooms have been opened for Friday social evenings from 7pm which are available for everyone of all ages and with the family atmosphere are increasing in popularity.

In addition there was a positive attitude from members who look forward to the club's centenary year in 2020.
