Probationary driver loses licence in Greenock

A probationary plate driver has lost his licence after being detected speeding on Saturday morning at Greenock.

Just before 8.30am on August 3, Nuriootpa police conducting laser speed detection on Sturt Highway, detected a Kia sedan travelling at 159km/h in a 110km/h zone.

The 17-year-old Barossa driver received an on the spot fine over $1500 and instantly lost his licence for six months.
