Police report Gawler West man for positive return on breath test

A man will appear in court after he was caught drink-driving in Gawler West on Sunday morning.

Police will allege that just after 3.30am on Sunday, July 21, a police patrol stopped a Mitsubishi sedan on Britton Street, and the driver underwent a breath test, returning a positive reading of 0.141.

The 41-year-old Gawler West man was reported for exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol.

The man was issued a six-month immediate loss of licence notice and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
