Mother Nature is using all her force to let the region know winter is here with frosty conditions settling in the region across the past week.

It's meant a flurry of photos of temperature gauges and weather sites, plus frost and ice scenes, popping up on social media. A few would argue the lowest temperature of -2 was recorded in Nuriootpa on Sunday morning.

However, there's a hint of relief for today (Wednesday, June 26) with Weatherzone predicting overnight temperatures to fall to about six degrees with a daytime temperature reaching between 13-17. Similar conditions are expected on Thursday, with sunny conditions and a top of 19 degrees for Friday.
