Barossa Farmers' Market supporters gathered on June 7 to mark the installation of new toilet facilities.
The new facilities triple the number of toilets on-site and provides designated male and female toilets, plus a disabled toilet and baby change facilities at the market for the first time.
General Manager of the Barossa Farmers Market Elaine Ratcliffe welcomed the additional facilities.
"We hope that the improved experience that we can offer now will encourage further people to visit the market, customers to stay longer and shop with more of our stallholders," Elaine said.
$60,000 in funding was sourced through the previous State Government's 'Fund My Neighbourhood' scheme.
Market Board Chair Matt Taylor acknowledged the State Government and site owners Yalumba for their support.
"The Barossa Farmers Market was set up by local community members over 16 years ago and improving the experience is important as we are a meeting place for the community and offer visitors an authentic Barossa food experience."
