Police are investigating a fatal crash at Evanston on Wednesday where a pedestrian was struck by a train.
Just after 2pm on Wednesday 17 April, police and emergency crews were called to the railway line about 300 metres west of the Barnett Road Railway Crossing, after pedestrian was hit by a train.
Sadly, the 38-year-old pedestrian from the northern suburbs died at the scene.
Major Crash and Public Transport Safety Branch officers are assisting the investigation and police are preparing a report for the Coroner.
