The Gawler History Team have secured guest speaker Denise Schumann for the 2019 History Month in May.
According to the team, Ms Schumann has been intimately involved in exploring Gawler's rich cultural history.
She is now able to celebrate the many months of toil she has undertaken in the bringing together of the precious Gawler Institute Collection in the town's new Heritage Gallery within Gawler Civic Centre.
Here she will display 'Into the Light' which spectacularly interweaves Kaurna history with European history and culture.
Ms Schumann's address will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday, May 2 in the Zion Lutheran Hall, located at the rear of 22b Cowan Street, Gawler.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
The public may also reserve their seat by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning Brian on 0412 015 990.
