A house is believed to be destroyed in a fire which erupted at Hampden, 9km west of Eudunda, early Friday afternoon.
CFS fire crews were called to the blaze on Nash Road at about 1.30pm on March 22.
SA CFS spokesperson Ally Martin said nine crews are currently on the scene and have reported that the entire home is on fire and "likely to be destroyed".
Fortunately no injuries have been reported with the occupants accounted for.
At this stage it is unknown how the incident occurred and fire cause investigators have been requested to attend the scene.
The damage bill is so far estimated at $250,000.
Safety measures have been put in place for fire crews as asbestos materials are believed to be involved.
The public is asked to keep well away from the incident site.
