Barossa Bowland offers one of the biggest and best dinosaur themed mini-golf courses in Australia, along with a timeless 12-lane ten pin bowling centre.
The mini-golf course is set in a large, beautifully manicured garden which is shaded by large trees that change with the seasons and sprinkled with a myriad of dinosaur friends.
The business has been open since 1981, with the mini-golf course built in around 2008. The current owners took over the business in January of 2016 with the purpose of turning it into a family-owned and run business for local families.
There are currently 14 people on the team of staff, which are all made up of members of the Verner family, who are Barossa locals and students.
The staff members are trained in a variety of roles including serving front of house, food preparation, cooking wood oven pizzas and operating the bowling system.
"The current trend is for entertainment venues to be family-friendly centres that are multi-function," said Deb Verner.

"Our business is unique to the Barossa Valley, and we have dinosaurs," she said.
Barossa Bowland has people from all over Australia come to visit, but the Verner family love that they get to provide a fun space for locals too.
"We love that our business creates a fun and entertaining space for all people of all ages and at all skill levels. We also serve food and drink, with our speciality being wood oven pizzas cooked in our outdoor pizza oven," Deb said.
If you want another reason to support this local business, then think about how they support locals too.
"We sponsor and donate to many schools, sporting teams, organisations and fundraisers both locally and beyond," Deb said.
"We also host league bowling and 8-ball games at our venue, which brings in a great sports community."
