A concert hosted by the Adelaide Plains Male Voice Choir is expected to provide relief for farmers in the east Eudunda area late next month.
According to concert organiser Don Bubner, people who have travelled through the eastern states drought effected area and have returned to Eudunda, say they have never seen anything worse.
"Although crops were sown as usual, they unfortunately did not grow to be reaped," he said.
"The reality is headers were not taken out therefore no hay was baled.
"And with no ground cover, these farmers continue to experience regular dust storms."
With the approval of the local farmers, the choir will present an afternoon's program in the Eudunda Lutheran Church on Sunday, March 31.
Popular guest artists will share the entertainment program, generously giving of their time and talent.
A cuppa and biscuits will complete the afternoon.
The choir is keen to advertise the event from Burra to Gawler and Morgan and Mallala so be sure to tell all your family and friends Mr Bubner said.
The entire $15 admission will be donated to the farmers as there will be no expenses in the setting up of the event.
