A truck driver has been reported after hitting a building in Gawler mid last week.
Just after 3pm on Wednesday, February 13, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Murray Road and Calton Street after a b-double hit a verandah and damaged a shop front.
The driver of the truck, a 47-year-old New South Wales man, stopped south of the location where he was spoken to by police.
He was drug tested and returned a positive test to methamphetamine. His sample will be sent to Forensic Science SA for further analysis.
The man was reported for driving without due care and drive prescribed vehicle off route.
He was issued with a direction not to drive for 24 hours and will face court at a later date.
