Geoff Watson will address the Gawler History Team on the subject of 'Yenda' next month.
'Yenda' is one of Gawler’s historic homes and located in Gawler East.
The home has a direct connection to the original establishment of the Gawler township.
It was built and lived in by Eliza Sarah Reid, daughter of the first family to settle here.
According to the Gawler History Team, the home has an interesting history in its own right and was home to at least one of Gawler’s Mayors.
The talk will be held on Thursday, March 7 at 7.30pm in the Zion Lutheran Hall, at the rear of 22b Cowan Street, Gawler.
The public are welcome to attend and can secure their seat by emailing email@example.com or by ringing Brian Thom on 0412 015 990.
