A Willaston woman will appear in court this month after she was caught driving at high speed on the Northern Expressway last month.

Police will allege that about 6.45am on Saturday, January 26, a speed camera recorded a Ford station wagon travelling at 181km/h in a 110km/h zone at Ward Belt.

The information was passed on to Barossa Highway Patrol enquiry officers, who interviewed the driver on Thursday, February 14.

The 38-year-old Willaston woman was reported for driving at a dangerous speed, and she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Her car was not impounded, as it was extensively damaged in a crash yesterday.
