A spate of thefts around Gawler

A high number of thefts have marred the beginning of the new year for some residents, with 17 thefts reported in recent weeks by Gawler Police.
Additionally, a series of arson attacks occurred on January 7 and again on January 12.

THEFTS
On 7 January a trolley full of groceries was stolen and a window smashed at a business on Cowan Street, Gawler.
On 7 January various items, including tools, were stolen from a business premises on Main North Road, Evanston.
On 7 January a number of bottles of alcohol were stolen from a business premises on Julian Terrace, Gawler.
Between 27 December and 6 January a Modern camper trailer was stolen from a residence on Second Street, Dublin.
Between 5 and 7 January four wheels were stolen from a motor vehicle in a car yard on Lyndoch Road, Gawler.
Between 3 and 7 January electrical cable was stolen from a worksite on Murray Hillier Court, Evanston Gardens.
On 8 January a laptop computer, phone, sunglasses and a watch were stolen from a residence on Fletcher Road, Lewiston.
Between 8 and 9 January a wallet was stolen from the front of a residence on Prizbilla Drive, Evanston.
Between 7 and 8 January a large amount of copper and batteries were stolen from a location in Northside Court, Evanston Gardens.
Between 9 and 10 January multiple tools were stolen from a utility parked in Brittain Street, Gawler West.
Between 9 and 10 January a wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked in Buckley Street, Evanston Gardens.
On 8 January a purse was stolen from a vehicle parked on Railway Crescent, Evanston.
Between 9 and 10 January multiple tools were stolen from a truck parked on Beadnall Terrace, Gawler West.
On 13 January a chainsaw was stolen from a store on Tulloch Road, Evanston.
On 13 January several bottles of alcohol were stolen from a business premises on Main North Road, Willaston.
On 13 January sheets and books were stolen from a business premises on Tulloch Road, Evanston.
On 11 January a jackhammer was stolen from the rear of a vehicle parked on Rogers Court, Evanston Park.
ARSON
On 7 January a fire was deliberately lit in a reserve off Nixon Terrace, Gawler, burning approximately 100 square metres of scrub.
On 7 January a fire was deliberately lit at a location on Two Wells Road, Willaston burning approximately 200 square metres of scrub.
On 12 January 20 square metres of grass was burnt on Bluestone Quarry Road, Gawler South.
