Gusty wind conditions experienced across the Barossa on Friday afternoon resulted in Father Christmas making a quick, yet safe arrival at the Barossa Christmas Parade during the evening.
Rocking up in a special sleigh to his favourite wine region meant thousands of children, who either joined in the annual parade or lined Murray Street, were eager for his visit.
Father Christmas was also heartily welcomed by the hundreds parents lining the streets from Jane Place to Basedow Road.
The parade of colourful floats and vehicles once again helped to bring the spirit of the festive season to the Barossa and provide visitors with plenty of memorable moments.
The event wasn’t complete without attractions to entertain young ones, including face painting, plus an array of foods and icy cold drinks.
