A 78-year-old Nuriootpa woman was taken to Lyell McEwin Hospital with hip and head injuries following a collision between a car and truck in Nuriootpa on Tuesday afternoon.

At about 1pm, a Ford sedan, travelling south on Third Street, entered Gawler Street allegedly failing to give way to a truck travelling in an easterly direction and resulting in a ride angle collision.
