Police with emergency crews responded to single vehicle accident at Nuriootpa on Wednesday after a male driver allegedly left the road, hitting 100-year-old vines.
According to Barossa Police, at about 9.15am, officers with CFS and ambulance officers were called to Sir Condor Laucke Way in response to a Mazda sedan entering a vineyard.
Barossa Police say the driver has been travelling in an easterly direction when he “allegedly the road out of control and entered a vineyard” on private property.
The 43-year-old male driver was admitted to hospital for observations.
Police investigations continue into the cause of the accident.
