The Student Representative Council at Mount Pleasant Primary School organised and ran activities throughout Book Week to raise money for Raising Literacy Australia.

The SRC successfully raised $105.45 through a range of activities.

The activities included older students reading to younger students during play times, bookmark making sessions, guess the lollies (book worms) in the jar competition, a pirate treasure search and a Little Big Book Swap.

It added lots of fun and excitement to Book Week while raising vital funds for a worthy charity.
