The countdown to one of the most popular Barossa events, Barossa Gourmet Weekend, is officially on.
Despite many ticketed events already selling out, event organisers say it’s not too late to enjoy the heart and soul of the Barossa; great food and even better wine.
According to Gourmet Weekend Creative Producer Sam Wright, anticipation is definitely building and there’s plenty of buzz and excitement about this weekend.
“With many events having already sold out and other unique experiences with limited tickets available, now is the time to get yourself a ticket and experience a unique celebration of wine and food on the first weekend of Spring,” he said.
“Gourmet Weekend is a favourite on the events calendar for so many people.
“This year’s program really celebrates the best of the region from the wine, the food, the entertainment and the experiences and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
This year’s Gourmet line-up features ticketed events with options a-plenty. Think long table lunches, secret dining experiences, hands on masterclasses and Father’s Day feasts.
Or, for those opting for more of a ‘choose your own adventure’ experience, the ever-popular Gourmet Trail is the way to go with seven participating wineries offering something a little different – it’s a perfect way to experience everything on offer during this year’s Gourmet Weekend.
