A truck driver has been reported after a collision with a building in Gawler this morning.
Just after 5.40am Monday 27 August police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Murray Road and Calton Street after a b-double collided with the veranda of a business bringing debris and wiring onto the road.
The driver of the truck, a 35-year-old man from Queensland, stopped south of the location where he was spoken to by police. He was reported for driving without due care, drive prescribed vehicle off route and work diary offences. He will be summonsed to court at a later date.
The Java Hut on Murray Street Gawler said in a post on Facebook that despite the damage to the building, all the staff are okay and they are open for business.
