All out performances, in last ditch attempts, are expected at the final round of the 2018 Winter Cup competition at Collingrove Hillclimb on Sunday, August 12.
An enthusiastic and highly competitive field of 90 drivers will be in the quest of a Class Record or personal best times to consolidate their chances of winning the prestigious Winter Cup or a Class award.
Cars of all types make up the comprehensive field that will be given every opportunity to perform well and improve.
“Cars from the “everyday” daily drive through Clubman and other types of Sports Cars, Historic, Improved Production and Touring cars to the light weight, very light and nimble Hillclimb Specials,” organiser Daryl Warman said.
“So come out and enjoy a day in the beautiful Barossa hinterlands, bring your family and friends.”
Collingrove Hillclimb can be found at 71 Hillclimb Road, Mount McKenzie.
Hillclimb Road is about 8km south of Angaston, down the Eden Valley Road (just look for the big sign).
Admission is $15 or $30 per car load.
Children under 16 free.
Bring a picnic or support the volunteer staffed Canteen that serves the best of regional hot plate or bakery type food.
