Gawler Centrals hosted their women’s football presentations on June 3 following the grand final in Nuriootpa.
“Although it wasn’t the best year on the scoreboard, all teams showed huge improvement in skills and their commitment to one another was fantastic,” Jo Glazbrook said.
“We had a lot of new players join the club which is fantastic to see and the introduction to the Senior side is great.”
U14s – it was Samara’s first season and she took out best and fairest.
Both Samara and Kate have been selected in representing the association in the Central Zone Female Carnival at Snowtown Oval this Sunday.
U17s – Kayla has also been selected in representing the association in the U17’s Central Zone Female Carnival at Snowtown on Sunday.
Seniors – “We were very pleased to have the inaugural Association Medal winner Lauren Smith start her footy career here with us and I am sure she has a very good future in front of her,” Ms Glazbrook.
