The May meeting of the Barossa Valley Floral Designers Club was in the form of a bus trip to APack Floral Warehouse and a visit to the Woodville Academy of Floral Design meeting.

With a warm welcome and a lovely morning tea on arrival at Apack, members made their way through the warehouse picking up items for purchase.

Loaded up, the group then travelled to attend the Woodville Academy of Floral Design meeting.

Lunch and camaraderie was enjoyed before getting down to official business.

The demonstration was on ‘petite and miniature’ designs – the intricate arrangements are so small that tweezers are used to place floral material into the oasis.

An enjoyable day was had by all.

The next meeting of the Barossa Valley Floral Designers Club will be on Monday, July 9 at 7pm at the CWA Rooms, Tanunda, with Adel Ray as the guest demonstrator.
