It was another big weekend for sport in the Barossa Valley and surrounding regions.
In the Barossa, Light and Gawler Football League, Freeling defeated Angaston 5.13-43 10 13.13-91.
Elsewhere, South Gawler got the better of local rivals Gawler Central, defeating the tigers by 83 points.
Tanunda downed Kapunda 11.3-69 to 16.10-106, while Willaston maintained their place at the top of the ladder with a narrow two point win over Barossa District.
Nuriootpa had the bye.
Women’s Football was also played over the weekend with Barossa District playing host to teams from Tanunda, Kapunda, Willaston, South Gawler, Gawler Central, Angaston and Barossa District.
Barossa White and Angaston are locked in a battle for first place after six rounds.
