It was another bumper week of sporting action around the Barossa over the weekend.
The rain bucketed down but it did not stop the athletes as football, netball and hockey matches were played.
Round two of the Barossa, Light and Gawler Football Association kicked off, with games in both the men’s and women’s leagues taking place, as well as juniors.
In the women’s league, games were played at Angaston on Sunday.
On Saturday, men’s games were held at Freeling, Gawler Central, South Gawler and Nuriootpa with Barossa Districts having the week off.
Netball was also played at these respective venues.
There was also hockey matches to keep the district entertained.
