If you know a member of the Barossa 4WD Club then take the time to thank them for a job well done.
The generous, yet humble, members took time out of their weekend to help beautify a section of the Barossa by participating in the annual Clean Up Australia initiative on Sunday, March 4.
“We cleaned Linear Park at Nuriootpa (near the train) up to, and over the other side of the bridge near the Foodland car park,” member Elizabeth Black said.
As a result, the seven members managed to collect seven bags of rubbish which was later collected for disposal by The Barossa Council.
The team worked from 9.30am to noon and made sure they rewarded themselves with morning tea in between.
Mrs Black is also keen to share with members that a change of address for meetings has taken place with gatherings to be hosted in Lyndoch Library on the second Wednesday of the month at 8pm.
