South Australian rural and regional residents often say that the state’s politics stops at the Tollgate or Port Wakefield Road.

So, here is your chance to hear the five major parties speak about rural issues such as health, education, energy, council rate capping and royalties for regions. #countrySAvotes.

Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis (Labor) Shadow spokesperson for Tourism, Primary Industries, Food & Wine David Ridgway MLC  (Liberal) Robert Brokenshire MLC (Aust. Conservatives) Sam Johnson (SA Best) and Tammy Franks MLC (SA Greens) have given their time to speak to regional South Australia.

In this second session moderated by Fairfax journalist Peri Strathearn, the talk has turned to power pricing, rural roads, Royalties for Regions and more.

The forum will run between 7.30pm and 8pm on Wednesday, March 7 on all of Fairfax Media’s South Australian newspaper websites, including this one.
