Engines roaring for Kapunda Charity Car Cruise

Kapunda Charity Car Cruise 2018 has been organising to raise funds for the Kapunda Hospital again.

Last year we raised $25,200 from which we purchased with Kapunda Hospital a Hover Matt “state of the art” defibrillator and an emergency trolley.

This year we are hoping to raise $15,000 to help revamp the outpatients area at the Kapunda Hospital.

This year we are currently organising our Cruise to the Riverland which will happen on the long weekend of March 9 to 11.

We are leaving Kapunda about 9am from the North Kapunda Hotel and Kapunda Lions Club are hosting breakfast.

Kapunda Charity Car Cruise will travel to Waikerie and Loxton, with both hotels welcoming us with open arms and we have organised fun stops on the way to our destinations.

Our very own Steve Grant (Nobody Famous) is playing every night of the cruise.

KC our Mascot Bear which joined us on theCruise last year is packing his bags to be apart of the journey.

KC was left abandoned at the Kapunda Craft Shop last year.

The ladies thought it would be nice if we could take him with us to find a home but unfortunately we couldn’t and KC became a part of our family.

This mischievous bear can be a handful and gets into lots of trouble.

Kapunda Charity Car Cruise has been lucky to have the major support of Fairmont Homes Group, Barossa Carpet Court, JT Johnson & Sons, Solar Water Pump, Bolts Electrical, All Covers Roofing Services and Kapunda Business Alliance and support from other local businesses and community.

Our Kapunda Hospital is very important to our community.

The final night we are having a dinner and auction at the Kapunda Bowling Club at 6 pm, $30 per person.

Anybody wanting to come along to help us raise funds for the Kapunda Hospital are more than welcome to join us.
