Kapunda’s annual Christmas Street Party on Friday, December 15, attracted strong crowds and splendid weather.
Children had the opportunity to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas and enjoy plenty of other fun amusements, including a blow-up race track, animals and music from local band Do A Flip.
“We rebranded the Yellow Brick Road and reintroduced it as the Copper Trail this year,” Christmas Street Party chair Cara Weltman said.
Many local businesses were involved in the Copper Trail and open throughout the evening.
The committee thanked the Light Regional Council, Kapunda Food Works, Kym’s Concrete, Total Earthworx, Elbourn Engineering, Premium Roofing & Patios and many more for their support.
“We would like to thank all of the volunteers and anyone who donated to the can drive,” Cara said.
“We would also like to thank the MFS and Coates Hire for dressing Map the Miner.”
