Kapunda and Eudunda Meals on Wheels volunteers and clients joined together at a luncheon in Kapunda last Friday to celebrate the Christmas season.
Chairman Pat Hayward welcomed just under 50 people to the luncheon and thanked everyone for their assistance throughout the year.
Brenton Dawkins from MOW headquarters spoke on the value of volunteers.
“We would not have a service without the continuing support from the countless community members who are prepared to support those in need of what we provide,” Mr Dawkins said.
The gathering joined in the carol singing, led by musicians Peter Murphy on piano, and Sandra Modra, well-known local singer.
Father Christmas popped in from the North Pole, via Clare Road, and distributed special gifts with help from special elf, Hazel Norris, and her team.
Mrs Hayward expressed thanks to the proprietors of the Sir John Franklin Hotel, Rodney and Kylie Black, who had generously supported the luncheon, and members of the MOW committee who had been involved in organising the luncheon.
