There is some intense and keen competition expected for the final round of the Collingrove Challenge Trophy for Multi Clubs this weekend.
Motorsports fans are encouraged to get out to the event this Sunday, August 13 at Collingrove Motorsport track.
All competitors will desperate to excel in this final opportunity, looking to score well in their own club competitions, while also vying for this prestigious trophy, unique in SA.
It will also provide the last opportunity for competitors to set up their cars prior to the South Australian Hillclimb Championships, which will be held next month.
The field will comprise of all types and classes of cars, from the daily driver to the powerful, lightweight purpose-built hill climb specials.
For spectators, there is a wide range of excellent viewing positions in beautiful surroundings and you are invited to walk through the pit paddock – there is also the opportunity to talk to the drivers and inspect the competition cars.
All of this makes for an exciting day out for the family at just $10 per adult or only $20 per car load.
There is on-site catering featuring the best of Barossa takeaway type food or bring a picnic, plus there is plenty of free parking – bring your family out for a fun and enjoyable day in the country.
Collingrove Hillclimb is located at 71 Hillclimb Road Mount McKenzie, look for the signs about 9km south from Angaston on the Eden Valley Road.
