Regional fuel price ratings dropped to 2.6 average in February, compared to 3.2 the previous month. RAA senior analyst Chris West said a drop in commodity prices seemed to be pocketed by retailers instead of passed on to motorists. Port Augusta had the best fuel prices with 3.7 out of 5.0, with Ceduna and Port Lincoln next best with 3.3. Naracoorte and Victor Harbor were 2.6, while Whyalla and Tailem Bend rated 2.3. Murray Bridge and Bordertown received 2.1 out of 5.0, and Port Pirie scored 1.7.
