Have you purchased your Barossa Vintage Festival tickets yet? Time is running out and if you don’t want to miss the events you’ve circled in the program, word on the street is you need to book now.
With just four weeks to go until the festival kicks off, a number of events have already sold out.
Festival director Andrew Dundon urged people not to leave ticket purchases until the last minute, otherwise they could miss out altogether.
“Sales have happened much earlier this festival, which is why we have seen many events already sell out,” he said.
“The majority of these ticket sales have come from people outside of the region, with a great interest from interstate.
“With the increased interest from people outside of the region, we are urging locals to not leave it to the last minute to book their own tickets.
“This is an event by the Barossa community, for the Barossa community, and it would be disappointing to see locals miss out.”
He said the trend in ticket sales had seen people booking for a full five days – great news for the festival and the community.
“It’s great to see people booking events for the full five days. Not only will this give them a chance to soak up the atmosphere of the festival, and immerse themselves in the Barossan way of life, but their extended stay benefits the local economy with accommodation providers, retailers, cafes, restaurants and tourism operators all set to benefit.”
