Trinity worker, 66, arrested for child exploitation

A Trinity College staff member was arrested and charged with aggravated possession of child exploitation material last Wednesday.

The man, 66, who is believed to be an administration officer, allegedly had material depicting children as young as 14 years old.

The school issued a letter to parents, describing the incident as “deeply distressing” and revealed the man was immediately suspended from his role.

He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on March 23.
