Two truck drivers managed to escape without serious injuries following separate truck accidents in the region on Wednesday.
The first incident at Gawler occurred at 11.15am and involved a road train which mounted a curb on the corner of Cowan and Murray streets, taking out power lines.
According to Gawler Police, the driver, who was lucky to escape unharmed, was charged for driving a heavy vehicle off route.
The busy intersection was closed to the public until late yesterday evening and no damage bill was provided.
Meanwhile, a truck driver was taken to hospital following a single roll over at Warren Road, Cromer, near Birdwood, on Wednesday afternoon.
It is understood the truck was carrying wine bottles.
Just after 12.45pm police were called in to assist the incident with the truck blocking the flow of traffic until 6pm.
The driver was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
