Makers and beyond

The Barossa Visitors Centre together with the Barossa Regional Gallery is preparing to present the inaugural Barossa Maker’s and Beyond Market.

The market will be a carefully curated gathering of artists and artisans, including potters, woodworkers, textile artists, candle makers, contemporary jewellers, card creators and much more, showcasing a treasure trove of fabulous local and South Australian made items in a festive setting.

Held on December 9 – just in time for Christmas – the Barossa Maker’s and Beyond Market is a joint project which amalgamates the very popular Barossa Made Market with the Adornment Artisan Christmas Market.

The market will be held across two venues, the Barossa Regional Gallery and the Tanunda Town Square, encouraging visitors to wander between the two, exploring the main street along the way and each of the venues unique activities.

Offering a unique shopping experience featuring live music, food, wine and beer vendors amongst the quality artisan stalls, artist’s workshops, maker’s tables and children’s activity areas, the markets are sure to be a popular element of the festive season.

Previous markets have attracted in excess of 900 shoppers in search of that extra special something.
