Three-time Australian Rally Champions (ARC), Eli Evans and Glen Weston, are entering this year’s Lightforce Rally SA in the brand new Mini Cooper.
Lightforce Rally SA will be only the second ARC event the Mini has contested, after debuting at the round three event in May.
2017 is a development year for the Mini Cooper as the Evans Motorsport team work hard to ensure the Mini’s full potential is reached.
The car is a left-hand drive 2016 Mini Cooper, turbo 1600cc engine, four-wheel drive, and built to AP4 specification.
After a hiatus from the ARC in 2016 when Eli and Glen were competing in the Chinese Rally Championship, the pair is looking forward to getting the Mini Cooper onto the Lightforce Rally SA stages.
The event is a favourite for both driver and co-driver having some of the best roads in the country and being set in the stunning surrounds of the Barossa Valley.
Lightforce Rally SA, round four of the Australian Rally Championship, will be held September 15 to 17 September 2017.
