Small school, big hearts

On Friday, June 9, the SRC at Mount Pleasant Primary School worked tirelessly to plan and organise a Special Persons' Day combined with a Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for the Cancer Council of SA.

The day began with a whole school assembly and each class sharing songs, projects and student learning.

Many grandparents and family members attended the morning and spent time visiting the classrooms and enjoying activities with the students.

The finale was a Biggest Morning Tea.

The SRC organised a raffle that was generously sponsored by the Mount Pleasant Pharmacy, Mount Pleasant Bakery, Mount Pleasant Butchers and Star Books who all donated prizes.

The SRC organised a stall of fundraiser games for students and guests such as lolly jar guess and lucky lollipops.

As a result the event raised $727.05.

It was great morning that was enjoyed by all.
