Squash champion Chris Dittmar has joined forces with the Barossa branch of Make-A-Wish to unveil a special wish for Tanunda teenager Jasper Stokoe.

Mr Dittmar dropped into the Rex to surprise Jasper and give the talented young squash enthusiast a few tips on technique before heading back to Jasper’s home to unveil his new bedroom retreat.

Jasper had wished for a place to relax and enjoy his space with friends, and the wish team responded with an impressive bedroom makeover.

The experience finished with an afternoon tea with Jasper’s parents Kirsty and Alex, younger brothers Felix and Hugo, his grandparents and the wish team.

Wish leader Rachael Dittrich said it was rewarding to turn Jasper’s mood book into a reality.

“None of this would be possible without the amazing support of our Wish Force ... and of course Chris Dittmar’s input which helped make this such a memorable experience for Jasper,” she said.
