Volunteers keep festival ticking along

More than 100 volunteers for the 2017 Barossa Vintage Festival were briefed at the Vine Inn in Nuriootpa last Wednesday.

Festival volunteers will assist and support organisers across events including the Parade, Ziegenmarkt and the Chook Shed Social Club, among others.

They will also assist with event clean up and other operational tasks, along with those who work tirelessly on the committee to help pull the whole festival together.

“Volunteers are an integral part of the festival,” festival chair Cathy Wills said.

“Running a festival without their assistance would be extremely challenging.

“We are forever grateful for the time and effort of all of our volunteers who collectively make this community festival a success time and

“Their willingness to donate their time showcases the general sentiments, commitment and love the community has for the Barossa Vintage Festival,” Ms Wills said.
