Students and teachers from Redeemer Lutheran School visited Canberra last month, including a visit to federal parliament to see how it works up close.
A total of 56 Year 7 students spent a week exploring our nation’s capital.
Federal Barker MP Tony Pasin was unable to welcome the students to Parliament House, but caught up with the students this week in the Barossa to discuss their trip and his role in Canberra.
“I was deeply impressed by the enthusiasm and knowledge the students from Redeemer Lutheran School showed for the democratic process,” Mr Pasin said.
“I was pleased to present these students with certificates recording their time in Canberra and I commend the teaching staff for taking advantage of the opportunity to show the leaders of tomorrow our national institution.”
