Lyndoch’s royal visitors

The children of Lyndoch Primary School had an early Christmas when they received a visit from The Credit Union Christmas Pageant Royal Family on October 17.

Dressed in their finest the Royal Family put on a spectacular 20 minute show that included singing, storytelling and games for the children.

Queen Rabiah and King Matt were excited to be able to stop and visit the children at Lyndoch Primary School.

“Visiting regional areas of South Australia is such an important and rewarding part of the community work that the Pageant Royal Family does in the lead up to pageant day,” Queen Rabiah said.

“Hearing the children’s laughter and seeing the smiles on their faces during the show is magical – it truly brings the spirit of Christmas to life,” King Matt said.

“Christmas is such a special time and it’s great that we get to create special memories for all of South Australia.”

At the end of the show The Credit Union Christmas Pageant Royal Family presented Lyndoch Primary School with a DVD of last year’s pageant for the school library.

This year’s Credit Union Christmas Pageant is on November 10 at 9.30am and will start at the corner of South Terrace and King William Street, Adelaide.
