Large quantity of cannabis seized by Barossa police

An Eden Valley couple has been arrested after Barossa police allegedly found cannabis and prescribed equipment at the couple's property.

Police allege they discovered a quantity of dry cannabis and 51 plants when they raided the property early on Thursday morning. 

It is believed in excess of 1.5 kilograms of cannabis was uncovered.  

The couple will appear in court at a later date.
