 Revenue grab?

Revenue grab?

24 Jan, 2012 12:45 PM
While driving to Williamstown recently, we were amazed to notice the straight stretch of the Warren Road between the Gumeracha and Mount Pleasant turn-offs, has had its speed limit reduced to 80km per hour.

This, about two kilometres of road, which has broken lines and not double lines, is the only safe place to pass a slow vehicle.

As the allowable speed along the rest of Warren Road is 100km-per-hour, one has to ask what is going on? Perhaps another handy spot to “revenue raise?”
